Business Leaders from Canada, India and the United States Gather to Strengthen Global Economic Partnerships
MISSISSAUGA – The Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC) successfully hosted the 23rd Founders Day Celebration of the Indo American Business Chamber of SME, bringing together an impressive gathering of business leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals and community stakeholders from Canada, India and the United States.
The well-attended event served as a powerful platform for strengthening international business relationships, fostering entrepreneurship and exploring new avenues of economic cooperation among the three nations.
A distinguished business delegation from India and the United States, led by Dr. Ajai Prakash Misra, added tremendous value to the evening through meaningful discussions on global trade, innovation, investment opportunities and entrepreneurial growth.
The event was graced by several prominent dignitaries and business leaders. The Chief Guest for the evening was Ruby Sahota, while the Guests of Honour included Nina Tangri and Kapidhwaja Pratap Singh, who attended on behalf of the Consul General of India.
One of the highlights of the evening was the recognition of outstanding leadership and public service. Special recognition awards were presented to MP Ruby Sahota and Rechie Valdez by Dr. Ajai Prakash Misra and Deputy Consul General Kapidhwaja Pratap Singh in acknowledgement of their contributions to public service and community development.
The program also featured an informative and engaging presentation on “Doing Business in Canada and India” delivered by Vinay Thapliyal, Vice President Legal and Director – SME. His presentation provided valuable insights into emerging business opportunities, regulatory frameworks and the growing economic partnership between Canada and India.

The formal proceedings concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Manu Datta, who acknowledged the contributions of guests, sponsors, delegates and organizers for making the celebration a resounding success.
The evening continued with networking opportunities and dinner, allowing attendees to build new relationships, exchange ideas and explore future collaborations across international markets.
