The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has announced the arrest of a father and son in connection with alleged terrorist activities in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
According to a news release issued on Tuesday, the RCMP will hold a news conference on Wednesday morning to provide more details about the recent arrests. The event is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the RCMP’s Newmarket detachment.
RCMP Assistant Commissioner Matt Peggs will be present to address the media.
At this time, no further details about the arrests have been disclosed.
