The city of Brampton is excited to announce the much-anticipated fourth edition of the Global T20 Canada (GT20) cricket tournament, which will take place from July 25 to August 11, 2024. This premier T20 cricket league features six teams: Montreal Tigers, Surrey Jaguars, Toronto Nationals, Bangla Tigers Mississauga, Brampton Wolves, and Vancouver Knights. Cricket fans can look forward to witnessing international stars such as Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and David Warner in action at the TD Cricket Arena

The tournament will commence with an exciting match between the Vancouver Knights and the Toronto Nationals on July 25. The league phase will continue until August 6, followed by the playoffs and the grand finale on August 11. The GT20 tournament has previously been broadcast in 133 countries, attracting an audience of over 180 million viewers, significantly boosting the local and national economy
