Community Rallies Around Family of 16-Year-Old Brampton Girl Killed in Milton Crash

Following the tragic loss of 16-year-old Emma Jaden Amminson in a crash in Milton over the Easter long weekend, the community has stepped forward to support her grieving family.

Emma, along with two others, lost their lives in a two-vehicle collision at Sixth Line at Derry Road early on Saturday morning. While the victims have not been officially identified by police, loved ones have initiated fundraisers for all three individuals.

Emma is fondly remembered as a “bright light” whose infectious laughter, compassionate heart, and unwavering spirit touched the lives of many. Friends and family recount heartwarming memories of her kindness and selflessness, describing her as a sweet soul who would go above and beyond for her loved ones.

In addition to Emma, 18-year-old Jaydon Burger and 26-year-old Mousawar Ahmed also lost their lives in the tragic accident. Jaydon is celebrated for his vibrant personality and zest for life, while Mousawar is recognized for his dedication to family and responsibility.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist Emma’s family with unexpected funeral expenses, reflecting the outpouring of support from the community during this difficult time. A large memorial at the crash site serves as a poignant reminder of the lives lost and the impact they had on those around them.
