In collaboration with Canada’s Music Incubator Limited (CMI), the City commissioned a special 50th birthday song. Art enthusiasts can enjoy digital artwork and short films by 50 local creatives at the PIXEL Chapter: 50 Exhibition, showcasing Brampton’s interdisciplinary talent. The exhibition will be available in person at the event and during select weeks from June to December in downtown Brampton’s Garden Square. It can also be viewed on the BAO’s 3D Virtual Gallery at Bramptonartsorg.ca.
Attendees can explore Brampton’s history at PAMA’s display and visit Lorne Scots’ military vehicles, try on equipment, and enjoy camo face painting. Various City departments will be on-site offering activities and giveaways, including Parks Maintenance and Forestry, Building Design and Construction, Capital Works, Tourism, Heritage, Brampton Animal Services, By-Law, Cultural Services, Brampton Fire and Emergency Services, Recreation, Road Maintenance Operations and Fleet, Brampton Transit, and Service Brampton.
