DESCRIPTION:Golden Hands – FCFC Knitting Hope Project \nDate of Announcement: February 26\, 2026Planning Meeting: Tuesday\, March 3\, 2026Time: 1:30 PM – 3:30 PMVenue: Paul Pallecchi Recreation Center\, Brampton Tea & light snacks will be served \n\nA Compassionate Community Initiative\nThe Flower City Friends Club is proud to launch “Golden Hands – FCFC Knitting Hope Project\,” a heartfelt initiative dedicated to knitting warm caps for cancer patients and senior citizens in need. \nThis project builds on FCFC’s strong tradition of service. In previous years\, our handmade caps were donated to Trillium Health Partners and William Osler Health System\, where they were warmly received and deeply appreciated. Encouraged by that response\, we are once again coming together to serve with compassion. \n\nLed by Dedicated Volunteers\nThe project will be coordinated by: \n\n\nJaswinder Daind\, President – Project Coordinator \n\n\nKamal Babra\, Director \n\n\nJatinder Paul\, Accountant \n\n\nTheir leadership will guide planning\, material coordination\, knitting targets\, and distribution to healthcare institutions and seniors in our community. \n\nA Message from Our Leadership\nChairperson Gian Paul shares: \n\n“Golden Hands is not just about knitting caps; it is about knitting hope\, dignity\, and emotional support for those going through difficult times.
