Canada has issued 6,000 new Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through the Express Entry system in a French-language proficiency draw — marking the second-lowest CRS cut-off of the year and continuing a clear trend prioritizing French-speaking newcomers.
To qualify in this round, candidates needed:
Minimum CRS score: 408
Profile submission before: May 26, 2025, at 12:28 p.m. UTC
This is the eighth French-focused draw of 2025, and these category-based draws have dominated the Express Entry landscape this year, generating the largest draw sizes and the highest number of total ITAs issued.
