The Indo Canadian Golf Association (ICGA) is witnessing a surge of enthusiasm from India ahead of its highly anticipated 25th Anniversary Golf Tournament, scheduled for July 22, 2025, at Glencairn Golf Club in Halton Hills.
Over the past week alone, more than 10 individuals from India have personally reached out to executive committee members seeking enrollment and participation in the historic tournament. This level of interest highlights the international significance of ICGA’s milestone event, which is expected to bring together passionate golfers, dignitaries, and community leaders from across Canada and abroad.

Mr. Manjit Kochar, ICGA’s Overseas Director, noted the excitement building among golfers in India:
“The response from India has been extraordinary. Golfers see this not just as a sporting event, but as a celebration of culture, community, and legacy. They are eager to be a part of this grand occasion.”
ICGA President Avtar Brar echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the importance of this moment for the Indo-Canadian community:
“It’s heartening to see such overwhelming enthusiasm from India. It shows how far ICGA’s message of unity through sport has traveled. This tournament is not just about golf—it’s about strengthening global ties and celebrating 25 years of commitment to community and charity.”
The 25th Anniversary Tournament will feature competitive golf, networking, cultural entertainment, and a fundraising campaign in support of Trillium Health Partners Foundation. It promises to be the most celebrated event in the Association’s history.
